SSC MTS i.e. Staff Selection Commission [Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination] syllabus and previous year’s question paper are available on this website. SSC MTS Recruitment application is going to start on 25 January 2023.

SSC MTS 2023 Exam Pattern
There will be two types of papers in the SSC MTS exam
- Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination):
- Paper-II (Descriptive):
1. Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination):
- this exam will be online
- There will be multiple-choice type questions in this exam.
- There will be negative marks in this exam.
- time = 2 hours

SSC MTS 2023 Education qualifications
- Candidates should have passed (10th+ 12th) classes from any recognized university.
- The candidates must obtain more than 50% marks in classes 10th and 12th.
SSC MTS 2023 Age limit
- Minimum Age = 18 year
- Maximum Age = 27 year

SSC MTS Syllabus Details 2023
Paper-I
- General English
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- Numerical Aptitude
- General Awareness
1. SSC MTS Syllabus General English
- Candidates’ understanding of the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, correct usage, etc., and writing ability would be tested.
2. SSC MTS Syllabus General Intelligence & Reasoning
- It will include questions of a non-verbal type. The test will include questions on similarities and differences
- space visualization
- problem-solving
- analysis
- judgment
- decision making
- visual memory
- discriminating observation
- relationship concepts
- figure classification
- arithmetical number series,
- non-verbal series etc.
- The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship
- arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
3. SSC MTS Syllabus Numerical Aptitude
- It will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and the relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, use of Tables and Graphs, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
4. SSC MTS Syllabus General Awareness
- Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society.
- Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person.
- The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports
- History
- Culture
- Geography
- Economic scene
- General Polity including
- Indian Constitution, Scientific Research, etc.
- These questions will be such that they do not require a special study of any discipline.
Paper-Il
- The Paper will be set in Hindi, English, and other languages mentioned in the Schedule-VIII of the Constitution as given in Annexure-XV, to test basic language skills commensurate with the educational qualification prescribed for the post.
- Candidates will be required to write one short essay/ letter.
