YIL Recruitment 2023 Notification Vacancy Details
This Skill India Mission issued by the Government of India is being run under (Yantra India Limited), under which there is a provision to provide government jobs in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories to lakhs of candidates across the country. This year more than 5000 candidates will be selected. Under this mission, more than 5 thousand recruitment will be done every year. This Apprentice Recruitment is released to appoint the 57th Batch (For Non-ITI & ITI Candidates) of Indian Citizen Trade Apprentice Training across the country.
The total number of vacancies for this year 2023-24 is approx. 5395 including 3508 ITI and 1887 Non-ITI. Essential Education Qualification
| For Non-ITI Category | Should have Passed Madhyamik (class X std or equivalent) as on the date of notification for applying with minimum 50% marks as per criteria of that Board. (as per their Marksheet) and with a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each. |
| For ITI Category | 1. Should have passed relevant trade tests from any institute recognized by NCVT or SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette notification of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship/Ministry of Labour and Employment with a duration as per the Apprentice Act 1961 with minimum 50% marks. The relevant trade to be considered will be strictly on the basis of Schedule I of the Apprentice Act 1961 (and amendments thereof). 2. In addition, the candidate must have passed Madhyamik / Class X std or equivalent (Minimum 50% marks in Matriculate / Class X std). |
Selection process
Selection will be done on the basis of the merit list. The merit list will be prepared separately for NON-ITI and EX-ITI categories. The merit list for the NON-ITI category will be prepared factory-wise on the basis of the overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik or matriculation (Class X standard or equivalent), aggregate in all subjects or best of 5 subjects as per criteria of that 10th Board, as entered by the candidate in the online application form.
