There are 3 types of different education qualifications for all in this vacancy. Which is something like this.
Graduate Apprentice(BE/ B.Tech)
- First Class Engineering Degree [Four/three-year duration (for lateral entry)] awarded by any recognized Indian University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks/6.75 CGPA.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: –
- First Class Diploma (3-year duration) awarded by State Technical Board/University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.
Non-Technical Graduate Apprentices: –
- B.Com / BA English – First Class Graduation (3-year duration) awarded by any recognized Indian University in the respective field with not less than 60% marks.
Kochi Metro Rail Apprentice Recruitment 2022 Selection Process
- Selection of the apprentices will be through a written test/Computer-based test and/or interview, which will be communicated through email id registered with KMRL by the applicants.
Exam Mode = Online
Duration of Training:
- The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.

- The age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.

- The monthly stipend for the Graduate Apprentice & Commerce graduates will be ₹ 9000 (Rupees Nine Thousand only)
- and Technician Apprentice (Diploma) will be Rs 8000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand only).
- The duration of the Training will be one year and the location will be Kochi, Ernakulam.
